Kelley commits to Arkansas

Quarterback Cole Kelley.

Quarterback Cole Kelley, 6-7, 240 of Lafayette, (La.) Teurlings Catholic has committed to Arkansas.

He visited the Hogs on Friday and today before heading back home.

Kelley completed 198 of 368 passes for 3,001 yards and 31 touchdowns with 9 interceptions this past season. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He picked the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Colorado State, Tulane, Southern Miss and others.

Kelley said the people at Arkansas was one of the big reasons for his pledge. He came up not planning to making a decision.

As soon as he arrived on Friday, he felt at home and told his mother he was thinking of committing. His father didn't make the trip, but is also on board with his decision.

He said Coach Bret Bielema was very happy when he told him of his decision.

Kelley felt a really good connection with offensive coordinator Dan Enos and believes he's very creative and likes to take risks.

He believes Arkansas is an underrated team and is on the rise.
