Mike Bolsinger was named the Pacific Coast League pitcher of the week Monday after two scoreless starts for the Oklahoma City Dodgers.

The former Arkansas pitcher allowed only three hits and three walks while striking out 17 batters in 11 innings of work. He earned the win in both games.

Of the 121 qualifying pitchers at the triple-A level, Bolsinger is the only one that has not allowed a run. His 0.55 WHIP and 17 strikeouts rank first and second, respectively, in the PCL.

With the strong start to the season, Bolsinger, who was traded from the Arizona Diamondbacks organization to the Los Angeles Dodgers during the offseason, is being discussed as a potential fifth starter that could be called up to the big league club Thursday.

Last season, Bolsinger struggled in 10 appearances (nine starts) with the Diamondbacks, going 1-6 and posting a 5.50 ERA.

Reynolds off to Hot Start

Matt Reynolds has started 2015 where he left off in 2014.

After hitting .343 while splitting time in double- and triple-A last season, the former Arkansas star is hitting .348 through 11 games with the triple-A Las Vegas 51s this season.

That is the eighth best average in the PCL among players with at least 40 at bats. He also has 15 RBIs and six doubles, which rank first and third, respectively.

Reynolds has one triple, one home run and three stolen bases, as well.

Eibner Hitting Well

While not as hot as Reynolds, Brett Eibner is also off to a good start in 2015.

Playing for the triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers, Eibner is hitting .333 with three doubles, three home runs and 12 RBIs. His RBI total is tied for fourth-most in the PCL.

Parker Moved to DL

Blake Parker was placed on the seven-day disabled list with an elbow injury Sunday.

In three appearances with the triple-A Iowa Cubs, he has allowed one earned run on one hit and three walks in 3 1/3 innings of work.

Wilkins Struggling

After a dominant 2014, Andy Wilkins is struggling in the first part of this season.

The former Arkansas star is just 6-for-27 (.222) with two runs scored and two RBIs through nine games with the triple-A Buffalo Bisons.

Scoreless Start by Baxendale

Like Bolsinger, D.J. Baxendale is off to a scoreless start this year for the double-A Chattanooga Lookouts.

The former Arkansas pitcher has yet to allow a run through 12 1/3 innings, while giving up nine hits and four walks. He has struck out 12 batters.

His start is slightly overshadowed by teammate Tyler Duffey's 13 2/3-inning scoreless streak to begin the season.

Cox Figuring it Out

Despite a .267 batting average, Zach Cox is starting to settle in with the double-A Jacksonville Suns.

He is 8-for-30 with one double, one home run and two RBIs, but has performed well recently. After a 2-for-4 game Thursday, Cox drew three walks Friday.
