A day after being waived by the Cincinnati Bengals, Cobi Hamilton was picked up by the Miami Dolphins Saturday.

The former Arkansas wide receiver was a sixth-round pick by the Bengals in the 2013 NFL Draft and has spent most of the last two seasons on their practice squad. He was added to the 53-man roster late in the season, but never appeared in a game.

In eight preseason games, Hamilton caught 14 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns, including a 50-yard touchdown pass from former Arkansas teammate Tyler Wilson in last year's preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts.

He has exhausted his two-year practice squad eligibility, so he must make a 53-man roster.
