Hogs announce NIT schedule

— Arkansas will play four games in the NIT Season Tip Off, according to a release Thursday.

The Razorbacks will play Akron and Charleston Southern at Bud Walton Arena before playing two games in New York on Thanksgiving weekend. Arkansas will play Georgia Tech on Thanksgiving Day at Barclays Center, and either Stanford or Villanova there the following day.

It is the fourth time the Razorbacks have played in the NIT Season Tip Off, formerly the Preseason NIT, and first time since 2001.

Other known nonconference games for Arkansas are at Wake Forest (Dec. 4) and Dayton (Dec. 30), and at home against Northwestern State (Dec. 1) and Texas Tech (Jan. 30).

The Razorbacks' full nonconference schedule will likely be announced next month.
