Arkansas releases nonconference schedule

— Arkansas released its full nonconference schedule for the 2015-16 season Monday.

The 13-game slate includes eight games at Bud Walton Arena, beginning with the season opener against Southern on Nov. 13.

The Razorbacks will then host Akron (Nov. 18) and Charleston Southern (Nov. 20) as part of the NIT Season Tip-Off before traveling to New York to play Georgia Tech on Thanksgiving. They will play either Villanova or Stanford in New York on Nov. 27.

The schedule includes only two true road games, with contests at Wake Forest (Dec. 4) and Dayton (Dec. 30).

Texas Tech is Arkansas' only home opponent from a power-five conference. The Red Raiders and Razorbacks play Jan. 30.
