FAYETTEVILLE — The arraignments for suspended Arkansas basketball players Anton Beard and Dustin Thomas and former Razorback Jacorey Williams — who was dismissed from the team by Coach Mike Anderson earlier this week — are being postponed.
The three, who were arrested July 22 in connection with a forgery investigation, had been scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Washington County Circuit Court in Fayetteville.
The arraignments will be moved to later dates, according to Washington County Prosecuting Attorney Matt Durrett, because attorneys representing Beard, Thomas and Williams have scheduling conflicts.
Beard’s arraignment already has been rescheduled for Sept. 2.
Durrett said Friday he’s holding off filing formal charges for the time being to give himself more time to review the case.
