A highly recruited Louisiana prospect plans to visit Arkansas.

Defensive lineman Stephon Taylor, 6-6, 274 of New Orleans, (La.) McDonogh 35 said he's thinking of taking an official visit to Arkansas, but if that doesn't happen he'll make an unofficial visit for a game. He has numerous offers from schools like Arkansas LSU, Texas, Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma and Nebraska. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Junior quarterback Davis Mills of Norcross, (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian hopes to visit Arkansas soon. He has offers from Arkansas, Stanford, Michigan, Miami, Louisville, California and others. ESPN rates him the No. 5 pocket passer and No. 108 overall prospect in the nation for the 2017 class.

He completed 18 of 27 passes for 270 yards and 4 touchdowns last Friday. Game highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas tight end commitment Grayson Gunter of Madison, (Ms.) Central had 3 receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown in a 24-18 victory over No. 3 Meridian on Friday.

Razorback safety commitment Deon Edwards of Clermont (Fla.) Lake Minneola had 7 tackles and 2 tackles for loss in last week's scrimmage against University High School in Orlando.

Hog fullback commitment Hayden Johnson, 6-3, 245, 4.8 of Columbia, (Mo.) Rock Bridge said he has the credits to graduate in December and enroll in January, but hasn't decided if he'll do so or not.

Central Arkansas Christian sophomore guard Christyn Williams has decided to play for Texas United Nike next spring and summer. She played for Arkansas Banshees this past spring and summer. Texas United NIKe plays in the girl's EYBL.

ESPN rates her the No. 3 prospect in the nation for the 2018 class.
