FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas senior Gabriela Lopez is tied for ninth place after two rounds of the LPGA’s Qualifying School in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Lopez is tied for ninth with a four-under-par 140 and trails leaders Julie Yang and Simin Feng by five strokes. Lopez had three birdies and three bogeys during her second round.
Former Razorback Emily Tubert, who plays on the Symetra Tour is in 150th place with a 155. Julia Roth, a former standout at Central Arkansas, is tied for 112th with a 149 after rounds of 71 and 78.
The qualifying tournament runs through Sunday. The top 20 players earn full membership on the LPGA Tour while the next 25 players earn conditional status on the Tour.
