Jackson wins SEC award

— Arkansas forward Jessica Jackson was named the SEC's co-player of the week Monday.

Jackson combined to score 52 points and record 21 rebounds in three games last week for the Razorbacks. It is her first conference player of the week award after being named freshman of the week three times last season.

The sophomore's big week included a 15-point, eight-rebound, four-block effort in a win over No. 21 Georgia last Monday. She scored 19 points in a loss at Texas A&M on Thursday and 18 points in a win over Auburn on Sunday.

Jackson is averaging 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season. Arkansas has won four of its last five games.

Jackson shared the award with Kentucky's Makayla Epps, who scored 42 points in a double-overtime win over Mississippi State last Thursday.
