— Arkansas' game against Eastern Illinois scheduled for Saturday has been canceled.

The game was scheduled to begin at 2:05 p.m., but was canceled after snow and frigid temperatures blanketed Fayetteville on Friday. More snow and temperatures hovering around freezing are forecast for Saturday.

With the cancellation, the Razorbacks' next scheduled game is Sunday at 1:05 p.m. Arkansas is also scheduled to play Eastern Illinois on Monday at 2:05 p.m. Sunday's forecast includes a 50 percent chance of rain, while Monday's forecast includes a slight chance of rain and temperatures in the 40s.

According to a release, university officials will monitor the weather to determine whether a doubleheader could be played Sunday or Monday.

Arkansas was originally scheduled to play California this weekend, but the Golden Bears backed out of their trip earlier this week.

The Razorbacks are 4-2 this season.
