Portis a finalist for Oscar Robertson award

— Arkansas sophomore forward Bobby Portis is among 14 finalists for the Oscar Robertson Trophy, which is presented to the national player of the year by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

The award will be presented April 14 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

Portis is one of two SEC players on the finalists’ list along with Kentucky junior center Willie Cauley-Stein, whom Portis will face Saturday when the No. 18 Razorbacks play the No. 1 Wildcats in Rupp Arena.
