Weather delays Arkansas flight to Kentucky

Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson reacts to a foul against Tennessee Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 in Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks won 69-64.

— Arkansas' trip for Saturday's game at No. 1 Kentucky was delayed by a few hours Friday.

The Razorbacks flew out of Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport in Highfill just before 9 p.m. Friday and landed about an hour later in Lexington, Kentucky. The flight was delayed after a layer of snow blanketed the region earlier in the afternoon, making it impossible for the team to fly out of Fayetteville's Drake Field.

Arkansas wasn't scheduled to practice at Rupp Arena on Friday and instead went through a workout at Bud Walton Arena before leaving.

The Razorbacks' game against Kentucky is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.
