For the fifth straight year, a former Arkansas football player will participate in the Super Bowl.

The Green Bay Packers' win over the Dallas Cowboys Sunday set up a matchup with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

That ensures that a former Razorback will play in the Super Bowl, as long snapper Brett Goode plays for the Packers and offensive lineman Alvin Bailey plays for the Seahawks.

It will be the fifth straight season this has occurred.

Last season, Bailey helped the Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. Before that, offensive lineman Bobbie Williams (XLVII, Baltimore Ravens), offensive linemen Mitch Petrus and Tony Ugoh (XLVI, New York Giants) and Goode (XLV, Packers) helped their teams win football's biggest game.

Quarterback Ryan Mallett (XLVI, New England Patriots) lost to Petrus and Ugoh in the Super Bowl.
