South Florida and other recruits and coaches react to Arkansas' hiring of Vernon Hargreaves as linebackers coach.
Hargreaves was at Houston before joining the Razorback staff. He also coached at Miami from 1998 to 2005 and where seven linebackers he coached were drafted into the NFL.
LB James King of Miami Washington said he wants to do a little more research but is impressed with his resume.

Junior LB Jordan Carmouche of Manvel, Texas - "It's great because he had offered me at Houston."
Miami American Coach Anthony White- "From what I know, he is a solid guy and he has some real connections down here and he should be very successful recruiting this area."
Coach Terry Gambill of Waco Midway- "I think he's a great recruiter and I think he's been in some great programs and I can understand why Arkansas would want to hire him as their linebackers coach."
Coach Kirk Martin of Manvel, Texas- "I think he will be a great addition to an already great staff."

LB Rayshad Jackson of Miami Norland-"I think that's great knowing that he use to coach with (coach) Shannon. So they have similar connections."
Jackson said Hargreaves will visit him on Thursday.
Graham said he'll host Hargreaves for an in-home visit on Wednesday.
