"There's a song from Antoine to MLK and that's like a Houston song,” Weathersby said. “When I first got out there, that's the first thing he said. Everything they say it is that's what it is."

He liked the family atmosphere while in Fayetteville.

"It was pretty cool for the first time being out and experience it," said Weathersby, who was hosted by running back Denzell Evans. "Everything was like I thought it was. Met some great people out here.”

"This is pretty good. Everybody knows each other, especially the football team. That's all they've got out here. That was a good experience.”

Weathersby, who was awarded the Greater Houston High School Rotary Lombardi Trophy, played in the Under Armour All American game earlier in January.

He’ll officially visit LSU this weekend. He has cancelled a visit to Ole Miss and will wrap up his trips to Houston, where his high school coach has been hired to coach tight ends.

“It will still be a signing day decision," said Weathersby, who has a 3.6 grade point average. "That will never change. Nothing has changed, I will wait until signing day and once it gets here people will know where I will be playing at."
