— Outfielder Tyler Spoon has signed with the Boston Red Sox, ending his collegiate career at Arkansas.

Spoon was selected in the 35th round of the MLB Draft last month. He batted .327 with 6 home runs and 54 RBIs as a redshirt junior.

He also recorded a team-leading 20 doubles and had 10 stolen bases. It is expected he will be assigned to the Lowell Spinners, the Red Sox's short season-A affiliate in Massachusetts.

Spoon is the final of the Razorbacks' four drafted players to sign this summer. Outfielder Andrew Benintendi (Red Sox, 1st round), pitcher Trey Killian (Rockies, 9th round) and third baseman Bobby Wernes (Astros, 30th round) have also signed professionally.
