Friday recruiting tidbits

LB Alexy Jean-Baptiste.

Arkansas linebacker commitment Alexy Jean-Baptiste saw his future school for the first time on Thursday and didn't leave disappointed.

Jean-Baptiste, 6-2, 200, 4.48 Pompano Beach, (Fla.) Coconut Creek pledged to the Hogs June 16 without visiting the campus. He and several others arrived in Fayetteville shortly before 4 pm and left around 6:30.

He said seeing the facilities and meeting with defensive coordinator Robb Smith were the highlights of the trip. He's visited schools like Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky and others but said Arkansas' facilities were the best he's seen.

Jean-Baptiste said he has no regrets committing to the Hogs and believes it's the best decision he's made. He and Smith went over his role as an outside linebacker and he sees the chance to lead the team in tackles.

Coconut Creek has several other top prospects. He plans to talk to his teammates about the Razorbacks.

North Little Rock receiver Tobias Enlow will camp at Mississippi State today, La.-Monroe on Saturday and UCA on Sunday. He had an outstanding performance at Arkansas' June 20 camp and improved his chances of possibly receiving an offer in the future. He plans to make a return visit July 29.

Sophomore guard Christyn Williams, 5-9 of Central Ark Christian received offers Louisville and Kansas State on Thursday. She's recently been offered by Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M. Arkansas was the first school to offer in June of last year.

ESPN rates her the No. 3 prospect in the nation for the 2018 class. She plays spring and summer basketball for Arkansas Banshees.
