— Arkansas will play basketball games against Northwestern State and Wake Forest in the first week of December, according to nonconference schedules released last week.

The Razorbacks will play Northwestern State on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville before traveling to Wake Forest for a game Friday, Dec. 4 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Arkansas beat both teams last season, topping Wake Forest 83-53 in November and Northwestern State 100-95 in December.

The Razorbacks will also play nonconference games at Dayton and at home against Texas Tech next season. The game against the Red Raiders will be played Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, while a date hasn't been announced for the game against the Flyers.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer has reported Arkansas will be one of the teams in the NIT Season Tip Off, along with Villanova, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Akron and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The Razorbacks will likely release their full nonconference schedule in September.
