Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Athlete Hayden Johnson of Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge

Arkansas will host several top prospects today and Thursday.

Running back target Devwah Whaley, 5-11, 196 pounds, 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Beaumont (Texas) Central said he plans to arrive in Fayetteville today and will visit the Hogs on Thursday.

Arkansas fullback commitment Hayden Johnson, 6-3, 245, 4.8 Columbia, (Mo.) Rock Bridge plans to visit the Hogs on Thursday.

Arkansas athlete commitment T.J. Hammonds of Pulaski Robinson plans to visit Thursday.

Hope defensive end McTelvin Agim will visit Wednesday and Thursday.

Arkansas linebacker commitment Alexy Jean-Baptiste, 6-2, 200, 4.48 of Pompano Beach, (Fla.) Coconut Creek is expected to arrive in Fayetteville today. He visited last Thursday.

Running back James Charles of Pompano Beach, (Fla.) Coconut Creek, athlete Destra Benoit of Pompano Beach, (Fla.) Coconut Creek and Wisconsin linebacker commitment Dallas Jeanty of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. will all participate in Thursday's prospect camp.

Defensive end Jerrion Nelson, 6-2, 260 and junior receiver Jaevon McQuitty, 6-2, 185 of Columbia, (Mo.) Battle are planning to take part in Arkansas' prospect camp on Thursday.

Receiver Tyrie Cleveland, 6-3, 190, 4.38 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Houston Westfield plans to visit. He has more than 40 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, LSU, Alabama, Florida, Baylor and Texas A&M.

Defensive line commitment Briston Guidry, 6-3, 284, 4.90 of Metairie (La.) Rummel is expected to visit.

His teammate and highly recruited cornerback Kristian Fulton said he won't be able to visit. He said he's going to try and make it another time for an unofficial visit. If not, maybe an official visit.

Defensive lineman Chris Daniels, 6-4, 299, 5.0 of Euless, (Texas) Trinity arrived in Fayetteville on Sunday to visit his aunt until Saturday. He plans to visit the Hogs on Thursday.

Highly regarded offensive lineman Brey Walker of Southmoore, Okla. Will visit Arkansas Friday, according to Brandon Drumm.
