Rochelle stepping down from Razorback Foundation

Sean Rochelle became the Razorback Foundation's executive director in Feb. 2013 and is stepping down after more than two and a half years in the position.

— Sean Rochelle, the executive director of the Razorback Foundation, has announced he will step down from his position Sept. 1.

Rochelle, who is leaving to become the executive director of Vold Vision, has been with the Razorback Foundation since 2008 and has been in his current position since Feb. 2013.

“It is extremely difficult to give up the privilege of being part of Razorback Athletics, but I have been presented with an opportunity that is unique, challenging, and exciting,” Rochelle said.

During his tenure as the foundation's executive director, the organization posted its two highest annual fund totals in its history, including raising a record $47 million in the 2014-15 school year.

Membership also hit an all-time high of more than 14,500 under Rochelle's leadership.

“I am deeply grateful to Jeff Long, Ken Mourton, and the Razorback Foundation Board for the opportunity to serve the past seven years,” Rochelle said. "I have been honored to be a part of something that has positively impacted the lives of thousands of Razorback student-athletes.”

Whoever replaces Rochelle will be the Razorback Foundation's fourth executive director since July 2012.
