Knight named Louisville Slugger All-American

Blaine Knight has been named a Louisville Slugger All-American.

The Arkansas signee and Bryant (Arkansas) High right-handed pitcher also earned the honor last year, making him a two-time All-American.

He finished his senior season with a 6-2 record and 1.34 ERA. In 57 2/3 innings of work, Knight struck out 77 batters while walking only four.

As a junior, he went 11-0, posted a 0.43 ERA and struck out 80 batters in 65 2/3 innings while leading Bryant to the Arkansas Class 7A state championship.
