Monday recruiting tidbits

North Little Rock receiver Tobias Enlow showed well at Arkansas' Advance Camp.

There was probably no prospect that helped his stock more than North Little Rock receiver Tobias Enlow during Arkansas' Advance Camp on Saturday.

He ran a 4.41 in the 40 and then had an outstanding performance during the one-on-one's by creating separation and showing very good hands. He made several difficult catches that wowed. He met with Coach Bret Bielema after the camp and the Hogs want him to come back after the dead period for a visit.

Enlow, 6-2, 180 has offers from Missouri State, OBU, Henderson State and Southeastern Missouri State.

Safety Isaiah Simmons of Olathe North in Kansas said he's supposed to talk to offensive line coach Sam Pittman today.

He was definitely one of the more impressive campers from a physical standpoint. He ran a 4.37 time in the 40 at 6-3 and 207. He has several offers and is hoping for one from the Hogs.

Junior receiver Kentre Patterson of East Lansing, Mich. reports running a 4.47 time in the 40 during the camp. His father played at UAPB and still has a lot of family in the state.

As mentioned in the Enlow post, the summer dead period runs from June 29 to July 12. Prospects can't visit college campuses during the time period.

Incoming freshman Blake Johnson and his family arrived in Fayetteville late Friday after driving in from California. His parents will be spending a few days checking out Northwest Arkansas before heading back. He'll room with snapper George Madden from Oklahoma.

They first met in 2013 while taking part in the Chris Sailer and Chris Rubio camps. Madden actually snapped to Johnson during both camps and now has a chance to do the same at Arkansas.
