— Bobby Portis is one of 19 players who are scheduled to be on-hand at the NBA Draft on Thursday in Brooklyn, New York.

Portis is the first Arkansas player to be invited to the draft since Ronnie Brewer in 2006. He is expected to be selected in the mid-to-late first round.

Portis has worked out for multiple teams in the lead-up to the draft, including for the Celtics, Hawks and Wizards. He was the Southeastern Conference player of the year as a sophomore for the Razorbacks, averaging 17.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.

Former Arkansas guard Michael Qualls also declared for the NBA Draft earlier this year. Qualls tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during workouts earlier this month in Phoenix.
