Enlow shines at Arkansas camp

North Little Rock receiver Tobias Enlow showed well at Arkansas' Advance Camp.

North Little Rock receiver Tobias Enlow participated in Arkansas’ Advance Camp on Saturday to get noticed. He did just that by running 4.41 seconds in the 40 yard dash and impressing the coaches with his skills and ability to make tough catches during one-on-one’s.

“I just kept my eyes on he ball,” said Tobias, who met with Coach Bret Bielema at the end of the camp. “I’m always hungry for the ball when it’s in the air because it’s mine. No matter where the ball is I’m going to be there.”

Enlow, 6-2, 180 pounds traveled to Fayetteville with scholarship offers from Missouri State, Oauchita Baptist, Henderson State and Southeastern Missouri State. He left town with improved odds of receiving one from the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE

“It was really good hanging out with the current receivers, they gave me tips how to beat the defender,” Enlow said.

He caught 16 of 17 passes thrown his way for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns as a junior while playing in the shadow of K.J. Hill. Enlow was asked by the Hogs to make a return visit after the summer dead period ends July 12.

He was pleased with his performance on Saturday.

“I stacked up very well,” Enlow said. “I showed the coaches everything I got.”

Receivers coach Michael Smith had some encouraging words.

“He said he liked my footwork and my hands and my eye-hand coordination,” Enlow said. “He thinks I’m very good on my routes.”

Enlow is hoping to see the Razorbacks offer.

“It would mean a lot because my brother Farod jackson use to play up here and he wants me to be a Hog,” Enlow said. “I’ve always been a Hog fan, so I can’t wait.”
