— Arkansas will face Wofford in its first game of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Terriers are 28-6 overall and were 16-2 in Southern Conference play, winning the regular-season and conference tournament championships. Wofford beat Furman 67-64 in the conference championship game Monday.

Here are five things to know about Wofford heading into Thursday's game.

Stud: Karl Cochran is by far Wofford's best player. He leads the Terriers in minutes (31.1), scoring (14.6), rebounding (5.8), assists (2.7), steals (1.8) and blocks (1.1). Cochran started all 34 games this season and has scored at least 10 points in all but six games. Twice - against South Dakota and Chattanooga - he scored more than 30 points.

Consistency: Wofford lost back-to-back games just once this season, losing to West Virginia by 33 points and Duke by 29 points in December. The Terriers are on an eight-game winning streak since losing to Chattanooga 56-46 on Feb. 12.

Close Games: Like Arkansas, the Terriers have played in several close games. In games decided by six points or less, Wofford was 11-2, compared to the Razorbacks' 9-4 record in such games.

Experience: Wofford's starting lineup is made up of two seniors, two juniors and one sophomore. The two seniors - Cochran and Lee Skinner - have started a combined 213 games during their careers and all eight players that played at least seven minutes in Wofford's loss to Michigan in the first round of last year's tournament are still with the Terriers.

Defense: The Terriers are allowing only 59.8 points per game this season. That ranks 26th in the country. Arkansas has played three teams that give up 60 points or less per game - Kentucky, SMU and Florida - and averages just 66 points in four games against them.
