Arkansas is moving on at the NCAA Tournament.

The Razorbacks beat Wofford 56-53 at Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday. Arkansas will play North Carolina at approximately 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the third round of the tournament.

The Razorbacks outscored Wofford 7-2 in the final 3:41 after trailing for much of the second half. Alandise Harris' basket and free throw with 1:40 remaining gave Arkansas the lead for good.

Wofford (28-7) missed two three-point attempts in the closing seconds, including one by Eric Garcia as time expired. The Terriers were denied their first ever NCAA Tournament win after leading 28-27 at halftime.

Michael Qualls scored 20 points to lead Arkansas (27-8). Bobby Portis added 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Spencer Collins scored 16 points to lead Wofford.

The win was Arkansas' first in an NCAA Tournament game since beating Indiana in 2008. The Razorbacks lost to North Carolina in their next game that year.

The Tar Heels (25-11) beat Harvard 67-65 earlier Thursday. North Carolina led by 16 points in the second half, but held on after the Crimson missed a three-point attempt as time expired.

Saturday's game will be the fifth between the Razorbacks and Tar Heels in the NCAA Tournament. In addition to 2008, the teams played each other in the postseason three times in the 1990s.
