Thursday recruiting tidbits

Little Rock Christian junior running back Damarea Crockett received extra attention from Nike officials after posting the second best SPARQ rating in the nation on Saturday.

Highly recruited junior linebacker Tre Lamar was received a scholarship offer from Arkansas on Wednesday.

Lamar, 6-4, 240 of Roswell, Ga. has around 40 scholarship offers. He said there's a chance he visits Fayetteville but doesn't have one set up yet.

He has a bench press of 315, power clean of 275 and 405 squat. Video highlights CLICK HERE

The Nike Football The Opening Regional has adjusted the SPARQ rating of Little Rock Christian Damarea Crockett from 128.22 to 123.21 after changing his power ball toss from 39 feet to 37. His rating was still the best for the Sunday event.

He scored the second-best SPARQ rating in the nation of 124.62 on Saturday during the Dallas Nike Combine.

North Little Rock Garrett Lawson, 5-9, 157 scored a rating of 108.6 with a 4.64 time in the 40, 4.16 pro-shuttle, 40.6 vertical and power ball toss of 37 feet.and ranked ninth best out of the approximately 550 athletes.

Defensive back Chris Kershner, 5-8 1/2, 164 of Dardanelle ran a 4.54 time in the 40, 4.10 pro-shuttle, 37.9 vertical and 33 power ball to place 15th.

Arkansas recruits and their results.

Linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch, 6-2.5, 230 of Davis, Texas ran a 4.77 time in the 40, 4.2 pro-shuttle, 38.5 vertical and 34.6 power ball for a 111.15 rating. His score was the 7th best.

Running back Rakeem Boyd,5-11, 198, of Houston Stratford had a time of 4.57 in the 40, 4.16 pro-shuttle, 34 vertical and 35.6 power ball for a 106.26 rating which placed him 12th.

North Little Rock Tobias Enlow, 6-1 188 had a 4.71 time in the 40, 4.04 pro-shuttle, 36.5 vertical and 33.2 power ball for a rating of 103.71 and placed him at no. 19.

Bryant defensive lineman Cameron Murray, 6-2, 280 ran a time of 5.1 in the 40, 4.35 pro-shuttle, 41 power ball and 27.1 vertical for a 103.5 rating. His score is the 20th best and the 2nd best rating for linemen.

7:18 update

Safety Dillon Stoner, 6-1, 180, 4.45 of Jenks, Oklahoma reports receiving an offer from Arkansas while visiting today. Coach Bret Bielema told him of the offer during a meeting with Stoner and his father in his office. He also has offers from Arkansas State and Wyoming.

He said he was tempted to commit on the spot ,but he doesn't want to make a decision right now. He's uncertain when he'll decide on a school. Video highlights CLICK HERE
