Monday recruiting tidbits

Razorback guard signee Jimmy Whitt will play for an Arkansas team that will take on a team from Tennessee in the Mike Conley Jr. All Star Classic at Little Rock Hall scheduled for 7:30 Thursday night.

Florida commitment and North Little Rock guard Kevaughn Allen is also expected to play for team Arkansas.

Arkansas women signees Malika Monk of North Little Rock and Jordan Danberry of Conway will represent Arkansas against Tennessee at 6pm.

Junior power forward De'Ron Davis, 6-8, 230 of Aurora, (Colo.) Overland will play for the Colorado Hawks in this weekend's Real Deal in the Rock basketball tournament in Central Arkansas. He's a major Arkansas target in the 2016 class.

Davis and another Hog target, freshman power forward Marvin Bagley III will square off in a marquee game Friday night.

Bagley, 6-10 of Phoenix, Arizona is being labeled by some the next great prospect regardless of classification.

Sophomore forward S.K. Shittu, 6-9, 193 of Rogers Providence Christian Academy will play for the Arkansas Hawks during Real Deal in the Rock. He has offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Tulsa and others.

Arkansas is expected to visit his school today and LSU will visit on Tuesday.

Freshman forward Reginald Perry, 6-8, 195 of Tallahassee, (Fla.) Maclay will also play for the Arkansas Hawks. He's rated as one of the top 20 prospects in the 2018 class by Future 150. He lived in Little Rock until moving two years ago.

Offensive lineman Branton Autry, 6-4, 320 of Coffeyville Community College said he plans to visit Arkansas this spring. A visit to Fayetteville this weekend is a possibility.

He has about 10 offers, including Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Oklahoma. He said offensive line coach Sam Pittman is different from other coaches because he hasn't promised him a starting spot like some coaches. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Receiver Tyrell Alexander of Lancaster, Texas said he's communicating with defensive backs coach Clay Jennings and plans to visit Arkansas soon. He has several offers including the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Linebacker De'jon Harris of Marrero, (La.) John Ehret said he'll visit Arkansas for the spring game on April 25. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Tight end Brendan Scales of Ballwin, (Mo.) LaFayette said he'll likely visit Arkansas April 18 or 25th. He recently added an offer from the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive end Caleb Roddy of Denham Springs, La. said he'll visit Arkansas April 7th. He said the Hogs offered him about a week ago and now holds 12 offers. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas incoming freshman running back Rawleigh Williams of Dallas Bishop Lynch recorded an electronic time of 10.77 seconds in the 100 meters on Thursday. It was his second time to run the 100 meters this spring. He ran a 10.84 in his first try.

Running back D'Vaughn Pennamon of Manvel, Texas has been talking to running backs coach Jemal Singleton and said he's about to set a date to visit the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE
