FAYETTEVILLE (AP) — The University of Arkansas women's track and field team scored several personal bests in route to an NCAA-leading performance at a California competition.
The No. 2 Razorbacks also posted two school records at the Payton Jordan Invitational on Saturday. Chrishuna Williams broke the program's decade-old record at 800 meters while Dominique Scott improved her own school record in the 5,000 meters.
All seven of the runners in the meetup established a new career best. It was the final competitions before the 2015 SEC Outdoor Championships are held May 14-16 in Starkville, Mississippi.
