The Recruiting Guy

Texas WR thinks Head Hog has the right stuff

Audie Omotosho

The leadership of a head coach is something receiver Audie Omotosho is looking for and he saw that with Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema during his visit for the Hogs' spring game.

“He’s a great coach, great mind that has assertiveness and that presences,” Omotosho said. “That’s what I look for in a program. A coach that really runs things. It was great meeting him and talking to him. Fun guy and just a great coach.”

Omotosho, 6-2, 190, 4.56 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Plano East High School in Texas, is closing in on 20 scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Miami, Texas Tech, Washington, Iowa, Kansas and Boston College. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He plans to narrow his list of schools to about ten over the next month. Omotosho recorded 31 passes for 582 yards and 4 touchdowns as a junior.

He couldn’t name just one part of his Arkansas visit that stood out.

“The whole program, they have outstanding academics, outstanding football, top of the line SEC and on top of that they have the family and the facilities,” said Omotosho, whose lead recruiter is running backs coach Jemal Singleton. “It’s just a school that really stands out above others.”
