Thursday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas football coaches continue to see some of the top prospects for the 2016 and 2017 classes.

Linebackers coach Vernon Hargreaves visited Miami Central on Wednesday to check on linebacker Donovan Thompson and Florida State defensive end commitment Keir Thomas. Both plan to visit the Hogs this summer.

Running backs coach Jemal Singleton visited Fort Worth, (Texas) All Saints Episcopal to check on highly recruited defensive lineman Michael Williams, who said there's a 50-50 chance he visits Fayetteville.

Singleton also visited Kennedale High School to check on sophomore linebacker target Baron Browning. He received his 13th offer from Boston College on Wednesday. He leg pressed 650 pounds during testing on Tuesday.

Cornerback DeMarkus Acy, 6-2, 175, 4.41 of Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Dallas plans to attend an Arkansas camp this summer. He has several offers but not one from the Razorbacks. Defensive backs coach Clay Jennings visited his school on Tuesday. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas running back target Devin White of Springhill, (La.) North Webster will run the 100 meters along with running a leg on the 4x100 and 4x200 relays during Saturday's Class 3A state meet. He ran 10.73 seconds in the 100 meters at 245 pounds in last week's regional meet.

Tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. visited Lamar highlight on Monday to check on sophomore linebacker Hunter Davenport. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Bryant defensive lineman Cameron Murray received an offer from Arizona Tuesday morning.

Ole Miss and Arizona visited Little Rock Christian to check on running back Damarea Crockett.

Defensive end Houston Miller, 6-4, 228, 4.67 of Keller, Texas is being recruited to play tight end at Arkansas. He has numerous offers but is waiting to hear from the Hogs. Video highlights CLICK HERE
