For the second time this season, Mike Bolsinger will be called up from Triple-A to start a game for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The former Arkansas pitcher was scheduled to pitch for the Oklahoma City Dodgers Monday, but was replaced so he could fly to Los Angeles for a start Tuesday.

It will be Bolsinger's second big-league start of the year, as he gave up one run on five hits and two walks in 5 2/3 innings April 23. He also struck out five batters and was in line for the win, but he earned a no decision when the Dodgers' bullpen blew the game and they lost 3-2 in 10 innings.

During the first month and a half of the season, the Dodgers have been fluid with their roster. When he is activated Tuesday, Bolsinger will be the fourth player Los Angeles has called up twice this year.

At the Triple-A level, Bolsinger has been dominant, allowing three earned runs in 19 innings of work. He has given up just 12 hits and six walks while striking out 28 batters.

His 1.42 ERA and 0.95 WHIP would rank in the top three in the Pacific Coast League if he met the minimum innings requirement.
