Sophomore tight end Kedrick James, who just wrapped up his visit to Arkansas, said he thought about committing three different times during the visit.

James, 6-7, 243, 4.81 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Waco (Texas) La Vega has 10 scholarship offers, including Arkansas.

He said the visit was better than expected and the facilities and weight room stood out.

Director of recruiting E.K. Franks gave him and his mother the tour of the school while tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. broke down the tight end play. The number of tight ends that Coach Bret Bielema has sent to the NFL really impressed him, especially learning how A.J. Derby played the position one year and was drafted by New England.

His grandmother, Dr. Charlene Johnson-Carter teaches at Arkansas and she told James she would attend every home and away game if he decided to be a Hog. He plans to make a return trip June 19.
