Arkansas saw one of their top defensive targets Thursday evening.

Defensive coordinator Robb Smith attended the spring game of safety Deon Edwards, 6-1, 195 pounds of Lake Minneola, Florida. He has 13 offers, including Arkansas, South Carolina, Missouri, Louisville and others.

Edwards liked that Smith was there to watch him and said the Hogs will most likely make his top five and get an official visit. He also said there's a very good chance he visits Fayetteville this summer. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Receiver Kofi Boateng, 6-1, 180, 4.6 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Arlington, (Texas) Lamar said he plans to visit Fayetteville in June. He has 26 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Texas Tech and Arizona State. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings visited Beaumont, (Texas) Central on Thursday to check on running back target Devwah Whaley.

Whaley, 5-11, 196 pounds, 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Beaumont (Texas) Central, has 20 scholarship offers. but recently narrowed his list to 10, including Arkansas. I feel confident the Hogs will make his next cut as well. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Sophomore linebacker Baron Browning, 6-2, 220 pounds of Kennedale, Texas, is up to 20 offers after receiving one from Ohio State on Thursday. Arkansas was the third school to offer him. He plans to visit the Hogs this summer. Video highlights CLICK HERE
