Arkansas is working hard to get into the mix for running back Carlin Fils-Aime.

Arkansas checked out a new prospect in Florida last week.

Running backs coach Jemal Singleton attended the spring game of running back Carlin Fils-Aime, 5-11, 180, 4.42 of Naples High School on Friday. He has offers from schools like Arkansas, Ohio State, South Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Miami.

Fils-Aime has a top five of Georgia, Miami, Auburn, Tennessee and Michigan, but said he still has interest in Arkansas. He was impressed that ESPN named Arkansas Running Back U. He has an aunt who's a lawyer and that has inspired him in wanting to attend law school. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Highly recruited defensive end Isaiah Chambers will likely release his top eight schools on Thursday. Arkansas isn't expected to make the list. He said the Hogs could still could get a visit depending on how hard he's recruited.

Defensive backs coach Clay Jennings visited his school on May 18 and defensive line coach Rory Segrest is expected to visit Thursday.

Chambers, 6-3 1/2, 258, 4.81 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Houston, (Texas) Aldine MacArthur has more than 20 scholarship offers. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Defensive coordinator Robb Smith is expected to visit Pine Bluff today to check on defensive lineman John Tate.

Running backs coach Jemal Singleton and linebackers coach Vernon Hargreaves are expected to visit Manvel, Texas today to check on running back D'Vaughn Pennamon and linebacker Jordan Carmouche today. They were to visit Tuesday but rescheduled because of the weather.

Arkansas has offered sophomore receiver Saiid Adebo of Mansfield, Texas according to Alex King of Football Brainiacs.

Offensive lineman Stephen Spanellis, 6-5, 310, of Baltimore, (Maryland) Gilman reported receiving an offer from Arkansas on Tuesday. Video highlights CLICK HERE

2018 Arkansas Baptist forward/center Connor Vanover, 7-3 will compete for a roster spot on the USA Basketball Junior National Team this Friday through Sunday, according to Nike Wings Elite Twitter account.
