Head coach Dave Van Horn at practice Sunday, June 14, 2015. Arkansas practiced at East Bellevue High School near Omaha.

Arkansas' run to the College World Series this year was worth a 1-year contract extension for coach Dave Van Horn.

Van Horn will receive an annual base salary of $700,000 through the 2021 season, and has the potential to earn more money through incentives, according to the terms of his contract. Van Horn signed the contract in July and it was made available this week through an open records request.

Van Horn could also be paid $75,000 in deferred compensation each June.

The annual salary is split between the University of Arkansas, Razorback Foundation and an equipment sponsorship with Easton Sports. Van Horn can earn up to an additional $200,000 each year in athletic and academic achievements.

He is also under contract to receive bonuses for his 600th, 700th and 800th wins at Arkansas.

Van Horn has won 524 games in 13 seasons with the Razorbacks and has led Arkansas to four College World Series appearances.

He signed a contract extension in 2011 that ran through this year and had automatic 1-year renewals through 2020.

Arkansas assistant coaches Tony Vitello and Dave Jorn also received pay raises following the 2015 season.
