Collins is one of 11 semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award. He has rushed for 1,209 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, and is averaging 6.1 yards per carry.

Collins has rushed for at least 100 yards in eight games, which is the most at Arkansas since Darren McFadden did so 10 times in 2007. McFadden won his second Doak Walker Award that year.

Other notable semifinalists for the award include LSU's Leonard Fournette, Alabama's Derrick Henry, Florida State's Dalvin Cook, Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey.

Henry is one of eight semifinalists for the John Mackey Award. Considered by several scouts as college football's best all-around tight end, he has caught 37 passes for 490 yards and one touchdown this season.

He had 117 receiving yards in a game against Toledo and is best-known nationally for his lateral to Collins that helped the Razorbacks convert a fourth-and-25 during an overtime win at Ole Miss.

D.J. Williams is the only Arkansas player to win the John Mackey Award, having done so in 2010.

Winners for both awards will be named next month in Orlando.
