It's an interesting week with a full slate of games as two SEC teams try to get bowl eligible and Les Miles travels to The Grove looking for job security.
Went 5-3 last week to bring the season total to 71-20. Here are this week's picks:

MISSISSIPPI STATE AT ARKANSAS
The Bulldogs and the Hogs are trying to up their bowl positions. The winner could be looking at a trip to one of the bowl games in Florida. The fact that the Dogs are bowling is amazing after losing 15 starters from last year's team. The Razorbacks are riding high after four consecutive victories, the last two over ranked teams. This could be a trap game for the Hogs if they are still thinking about The Boot and Baton Rouge. Arkansas 28-27.
ASU AT NEW MEXICO STATE
The Red Wolves could secure at least a tie for the Sun Belt championship with a road victory against the Aggies, who have won only two games this season, but it was their last two, so their confidence is growing. It does seem like every time the Red Wolves win a championship they lose a coach and never get the New Orleans Bowl. That could change this season. ASU 27-17.
CHARLESTON SOUTHERN AT ALABAMA
Roll Tide. Alabama 63-0.
IDAHO AT AUBURN
Finally, something for the Tigers to feel good about. They get bowl eligible and it's a good thing they are playing the Vandals because next week they have the mighty Crimson Tide. This will make all seven teams in the SEC West bowl eligible for the second consecutive season. Auburn 56-17.
FLORIDA ATLANTIC AT FLORIDA
The Gators get a tune-up before hosting arch-rival Florida State. The Gators have had a phenomenal year for first-year Coach Jim McElwain, but they could win out, beat Alabama in the SEC Championship Game and still not make the Final Four. At No. 8, they would need lots of help, just not in this game. Florida 35-7.
GEORGIA SOUTHERN AT GEORGIA
The Eagles, 7-2, are better than most know, and if they somehow manage to get a victory, look for Mark Richt to put his own house up for sale. The Bulldogs could finish 9-3 but the expectations going into the season were that this was the year of the Dog. Instead they are fighting to get to Orlando for a bowl. Georgia 27-21.
UNC CHARLOTTE AT KENTUCKY
Charlotte has her hands full with the Wildcats. The 49ers have lost eight consecutive since beating Presbyterian. The Wildcats need two victories to get bowl eligible and they close with Louisville, so they might want to do a lot of celebrating after this one. The fans have probably already moved on to basketball. Kentucky 42-0.
LSU AT OLE MISS
This is a rivalry game and apparently one Les Miles needs to win if he wants to keep eating Tiger grass. The Rebels had a week off after the loss to Arkansas but are playing to get into a better bowl. It's the last home game for the Rebel seniors and at least three juniors who will declare for the NFL. Ole Miss 31-28 (OT).
TENNESSEE AT MISSOURI
The Vols better be prepared for an emotional Tigers team who want to give their coach, Gary Pinkel, his final home victory. The Tigers, the defending SEC East champs, are trying to get bowl eligible, but will they accept a bid with Pinkel retiring after the final game for health reasons? Missouri 27-24.
THE CITADEL AT SOUTH CAROLINA
As pathetic as the Gamecocks are this one should be easy. South Carolina 28-7.
TEXAS A&M AT VANDERBILT
Can the Commodores win a second consecutive conference game and get within a victory over Tennessee of being in the postseason? Why not give the East its third win against a West team this season? Vanderbilt 17-14.
