Darren McFadden helped the Cowboys snap a seven-game losing streak Sunday.
The former Arkansas running back had 129 yards on 29 carries in Dallas’ 24-14 win over the Dolphins.
It was his third 100-yard game of the season and 16th of his career.
The performance also gave him 623 yards in 2015, meaning he needs to average only 62.8 yards per game over the Cowboys’ final six games to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for the second time in his career.
However, his body will be tested this week, as Dallas has a short week, playing on Thursday. McFadden has played on Thanksgiving twice, both against the Cowboys while with the Raiders, and had a combined 36 yards on 11 carries.
The Cowboys host the undefeated Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
