Wise wins SEC award

— Arkansas defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. was named SEC defensive lineman of the week on Monday.

Wise recorded two sacks and had two quarterback hurries in the Razorbacks' 28-3 win over Missouri last Friday. He also forced a fumble.

The redshirt junior has recorded eight sacks this season and has at least one sack in four consecutive games. Wise has 29 tackles and has forced three fumbles overall.

He is the first Arkansas player to win the defensive lineman of the week award this season. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw has twice been named the league's freshman of the week.
