Elite receiver lists Hogs in top eight

Highly sought receiver Tyrie Cleveland announced his top eight schools today on Twitter and Arkansas made the list.

Cleveland, 6-3, 190, 4.32 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Houston Westfield High School had more than 40 scholarship offers before narrowing his list in no order to Arkansas, Arizona State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas A&M, Houston, Oklahoma and Florida. He is one of the more electrifying playmakers in the nation and was one of the top receivers at The Opening at Nike Headquarters in July.

Cleveland, whose lead recruiter is defensive backs coach Clay Jennings, has recorded best times of 10.50 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.9 in the 200. He visited Fayetteville July 22-23.
