Friday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas is expected to hit the road recruiting during next week's open date.

Defensive coordinator Robb Smith is expected to attend the game of safety commitment Deon Edwards of Clermont (Fla.) Lake Minneola next Friday.

Coach Bret Bielema said on Monday he would leave Sunday night to go on the road to recruit and would return Tuesday morning. He plans to leave Wednesday night and will get back Saturday morning.

Central Florida and Virginia Tech are the last schools to show interest in Pulaski Robinson sophomore receiver Nathan Page.

Unofficially- Hog receiver commitment Kofi Boateng of Arlington, (Texas) Lamar had 3 catches for 82 yards and a run for 11 yards in a 56- 7 victory Thursday night.

Junior running back Eno Benjamin, 5-10, 195, 4.5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Wylie, (Texas) Wylie East is a big fan of Arkansas' offense and said he's looking to visit for a game this season.

He said he and running backs Coach Jemal Singleton communicate every other day. He has 15 offers, but the Hogs have yet to extend one. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Hog athlete commitment T.J. Hammonds of Pulaski Robinson is averaging 15.4 yards per carry and 29 yards per reception this season.
