Monday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and his nine assistants coaches will visit schools of recruits Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Some coaches will also visit schools Tuesday morning before making their way back to Fayetteville for practice in the afternoon. They will make their way to California, Utah, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri.

Small forward Adrio Bailey, 6-6, 205 pounds, of Campti (La.) Lakeview has switched his official visit to Arkansas from Oct. 23-25 to this weekend.

Junior tight end Kedrick James, 6-7, 243 pounds, 4.81 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Waco (Texas) La Vega said he's communicating with defensive backs Coach Clay Jennings and hoping to visit the Hogs for a game. The Baylor commitment said he's focused on the Bear, Hogs and Texas A&M.

Little Rock McClellan junior running back Pierre Strong had 8 rushes for 273 yards and 2 touchdowns.

LaFayette County Junior receiver Cualan Williams had a 37 yard touchdown reception, a 92 yard and 53 yard punt returns for scores and a 76 interception for a touchdown.

Unofficially -Hog defensive back target Tyrell Alexander of Lancaster, Texas had 6 catches for 76 yards and a carry for 10 yards.

Arkansas defensive line commitment Austin Capps of Star City had 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 blocked punt and 5 pancake blocks.

Junior linebacker target Thomas Johnston of Spanish Fort, Ala. had 15 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble.

Hog tight end commitment Grayson Gunter of Madison, (Miss.) Central had 8 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Razorback commitment athlete T.J. Hammonds of Pulaski Robinson had 28 rushing yards, 2 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown in three drives. He also had a 55 yard punt return for a touchdown.
