Arkansas extended a scholarship offer to one of the top junior running backs in Texas on Monday.
J.k. Dobbins, 5-11, 185 pounds of La Grange, Texas said Arkansas running backs Coach Jemal Singleton attended practice on Monday and told his coach he had an offer from the Hogs. He has 12 other offers from schools like Texas, Stanford, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Arizona State.
He said he's excited about the offer because he wants to play in the NFL and the Hogs' pro-style offense would help him get ready for the next level. Video highlights CLICK HERE
Arkansas offensive line Coach Sam Pittman visited Snow College in Utah on Monday to see offensive tackle target Garett Bolles, who's expected to officially visit the Hogs for the Missouri game. Video highlights CLICK HERE
Pittman also saw offensive lineman Dwayne Wallace of Riverside Community College in California on Monday. The Louisville commitment will officially visit Arkansas on Dec. 12. Video highlights CLICK HERE
Ole Miss linebacker commitment Donta Evans of Lawrenceville, (Ga.) Archer said he expects linebackers Coach Vernon Hargreaves to visit his school this week. He said he's still definitely taking one of his official visits to Fayetteville.

Running back D'Vaughn Pennamon of Manvel, Texas had six carries for 101 yards, 3 receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Athlete Kiel Pollard of Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County had 12 catches for 143 yards and a touchdown. He had one carry for a 2 yard touchdown.
Unofficial- running back Devwah Whaley of Beaumont, (Texas) Central had 18 carries for 109 yards.
Running back Kyle Porter of Katy, Texas has 974 yards and 19 touchdowns on 97 carries for the season.
