Another top target is eyeing the Tennessee-Martin game for an official visit.

Ole Miss running back commitment D'Vaughn Pennamon of Manvel, Texas, said he's trying to set up his official visit to Arkansas for the Oct. 30- Nov. 1 weekend.

Pennamon, 5-11, 211 pounds, 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has more than 20 offers. His teammate and linebacker Jordan Carmouche is planning to visit the Hogs the same weekend.

Arkansas men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson has announced the Razorbacks will hold an open practice in Bud Walton Arena on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8:30-10 a.m. prior to the football game against Auburn.

The Hogs are expected to host Bentonville guard Malik Monk and junior college guard Daryl Macon for official visits during that weekend.

Junior receiver C.J. Hayes, 6-2, 190, 4.50, of Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren plans to visit the Razorbacks for the Auburn game. His father Carl played receiver for Pine Bluff Dollarway and helped lead the Cardinals to state titles in 1989 and 1990.

Arkansas linebackers Coach Vernon Hargreaves visited South Florida on Monday to check on prospects.

North Little Rock junior running back Alex Day will visit Memphis on Saturday.

Running back Devin White of Springhill, (La.) North Webster said Coach Bret Bielema will visit his school today.

Pennamon said the Hogs' defensive backs Coach Clay Jennings will visit his school on Friday.
