Arkansas second, Scott third at Adidas Invitational

— In its final regular-season race, the Arkansas women's cross country team finished second at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational on Friday.

The No. 11 Razorbacks were led by a third-place finish by Dominique Scott, who completed the 6K course in 19:32.5 - 13 second behind winner Allie Ostrander from Boise State.

Freshman Devin Clark was the Razorbacks' only other top-20 finisher, coming in 18th. Kaitlin Flattmann (43rd), Kelsey Schrader (46th) and Regan Ward (78th) rounded out Arkansas' scoring runners.

Arkansas finished behind No. 1 New Mexico, but edged No. 3 Providence, No. 6 Boise State, No. 8 Iowa State and No. 10 Washington, among others at one of the nation's premier cross country races.

The Razorbacks will next race at the SEC Championship meet on Oct. 30 in College Station, Texas. Arkansas is the two-time defending champion at the conference meet and Scott has won the race two straight years.
