— Prices for Arkansas baseball season tickets will increase by 9.8 percent in 2016.

Season-ticket holders were informed earlier this month that prices will increase to $225 per seat in the upcoming season. The cost does not factor in donation costs required for some seats.

Ticket packages were sold for $205 last season.

With the adjustment, season tickets will average $6.50 per seat per game, which is less than single-game ticket prices. It's unclear whether prices for single-game tickets will also be increased next season.

Arkansas is coming off an appearance in the College World Series. The Razorbacks have had the second-highest national attendance average in eight of the last nine seasons.

The Diamond Hogs are scheduled to play 34 games next season at Baum Stadium, beginning with a three-game series against Central Michigan on Feb. 19.
