Robinson, two others reinstated with Razorbacks

Arkansas freshman receiver Jojo Robinson catches a ball during practice Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

— Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said he has reinstated three players who had been suspended from the team.

Receiver Jojo Robinson was reinstated Sunday after missing Saturday's game against UTEP. Robinson was initially suspended for the first half, but that suspension was extended to the full game some time during the week.

Bielema hasn't elaborated much on Robinson's suspension, but indicated he had to do with a distraction to the team.

"We had 16 goals we voted on and No. 1 was no distractions," Bielema said following the UTEP game. "I just kind of shared with him, if he's a distraction to this room, to his offense, to me, to anybody, zero tolerance. The good news was that what he got suspended for he got corrected in 24 hours."

It's unclear whether Robinson, a redshirt freshman, will make his debut Saturday against Toledo. He was highly recruited out of high school and signed with Arkansas after initially committing to Florida State.

Bielema said tight end C.J. O'Grady and punter Blake Johnson are also back with the team after both were arrested on alcohol-related charges two weeks ago. O'Grady was charged with DWI after being pulled over on his motor scooter, while Johnson was charged with public intoxication after being spotted urinating on a light pole.

"Those two guys served some penitence with (strength) Coach (Ben) Herbert and our strength staff during the course of the week, as well as some obligations they had to go through with the university," Bielema said. "They're back with the team now jumping back into full practice and competition."

O'Grady and Johnson are both expected to redshirt this season.
