Colorado State is the second known opponent for Arkansas in 2019. The Razorbacks are scheduled to open the year with a game against Michigan in Fayetteville.

“We are very excited to add Colorado State to our 2019 schedule,” Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema said in a statement. “Adding an opponent like Colorado State enhances our already-challenging schedule. It’ll be a fun and competitive schedule that will give our great fans in the state of Arkansas a lot of good home games.”

Arkansas and Colorado State have played three football games against each other, but haven't played since 1990.

“It is always our goal to create the most competitive schedule for our program,” Colorado State football coach Mike Bobo said in a statement. “Going on the road to face teams from the SEC will test our team and prepare us well in the non-conference season for the challenges our Mountain West schedule will present.”

The basketball teams are scheduled to play a home-and-home series beginning at Bud Walton Arena during the 2017-18 season.

Arkansas is scheduled to play a basketball game at Colorado State in 2018-19. The programs have never played in basketball.
