Arkansas basketball signs guard from Alabama

FAYETTEVILLE — University of Arkansas basketball coach Mike Anderson has announced the signing of a high school player from Alabama.

Anderson said Wednesday that 6-foot-5-inch guard C.J. Jones has signed a national letter of intent with the Razorbacks.

Jones average 28 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals per game as a senior at Central Park Christian in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jones joins 6-foot-8 forward Adrio Bailey from Louisiana as high school signees at Arkansas. The Razorbacks have also signed junior college players Jaylen Barford, Daryl Macon and Arlando Cook.
